Hello there, my name is
I want to combine my background in biology with software development to support the scientific community through my code. I’m currently looking for my first professional opportunity.
BSc in Biology
MSc in Bioinformatics & Biostatistics
Self-learning in Software Development
I hold a Bachelor’s in Biology and a Master’s in Bioinformatics and Biostatistics, where I worked on research projects ranging from entomological data analysis to clinical trials. This experience made me feel at ease working across different biological contexts.
After completing my Master’s, I decided to shift into software development. Coming from a biological background, I had a lot to learn, not only about programming, but also about things like hardware, operating systems and even typing efficiency. Then, I focused on web development, covering version control, frontend and backend fundamentals and the application development process. Now I don't think like a biologist smashing keys, I think like a developer.
I have both an analytical and a creative side. I’ve always had strong analytical skills, especially in understanding how things work. At the same time, I enjoy building things. I’ve explored music, writing, drawing and game design. Each of them has challenged me to learn quickly, adapt, and turn ideas into actual projects.
I’m now seeking remote opportunities where I can apply my scientific background and technical skills to real bioinformatics problems. Remote work allows me to collaborate efficiently while maintaining the independence that have shaped my learning path.
